Stillwater County is a county in the U.S. state of Montana. As of the 2020 census, the population was 8,963. Its county seat is Columbus. According to the United States Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,805 square miles, of which 1,795 square miles is land and 9.2 square miles is water.
