Dr. Reid Wainess was born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate education, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He graduated as an Angell Hall Scholar. Following his undergraduate education, he began publishing medical research in various surgical fields, leading to over 20 publications in national journals. He then attended the University of Michigan Medical School for his medical degree, a top 10 medical school. After receiving his medical degree. he completed his internship at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan.
