The Baltimore Orioles traded Ryan O'Hearn and Ramon Laureano, following the trade of Cedric Mullins. Mullins, a centerfielder, is headed to the New York Mets for three prospects -- third baseman Anthony Nunez, right-handed pitcher Raimon Gomez, and right-handed pitcher Chandler Marsh, the Orioles announced.

The San Diego Padres have gotten their much-needed outfield help, acquiring Ryan O’Hearn and Ramon Laureano in a trade with the Baltimore Orioles, per ESPN’s Jeff Passan. Per Dennis Lin of The Athletic, LHP Boston Bateman is among the prospect haul headed the other way to Baltimore. Bateman was the 4th ranked prospect in the Padres’ system.
