With just weeks to go in New Jersey’s closely watched gubernatorial elections, voters are gearing up to make their voices heard. Since 2021, New Jersey has allowed in-person early voting thanks to legislation.

While Election Day is fast approaching, New Jersey residents will be able to cast their ballot as early as this weekend. In 2021, New Jersey established in-person early voting for registered voters at General Election polling locations.

Democrats outvoted Republicans on Election Day by about 140,000 in 2024 and 16,000 in 2022, while Republicans outvoted Dems by some 1,700 in 2021.
