The Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs meet in Game 5 of their best-of-7, Eastern Conference semifinals series Wednesday at Scotiabank Arena.

Toronto is teetering on the delicate line between wanting to show that it won't back down and taking things too far against Florida.

Matthew Tkachuk turned his attention to William Nylander, pointing from the bench and shouting, “Guess who I’m going to get,” Tkachuk said. “I’m going to get you.” Asked about the interaction, Nylander remained calm and was playful while addressing Tkachuk's comments.

Despite the dry spell, fellow Maple Leafs star forwards Mitch Marner pushed back on any notion that Matthews is frustrated or off his game. “Everyone wants to produce, wants to score goals, and he hasn’t let it get him down at all,” Marner said. “His mood, his demeanor in the locker room, has been unbelievable.
