BURNHAM, Maine (WABI) - A horse was rescued on I-95 after taking a stroll away from home. Officials say multiple calls came in of a horse wandering along I-95 early Tuesday morning. They say the horse was originally spotted running with traffic in the northbound breakdown lane near Mile Marker 145 before crossing over into the southbound lanes.

State troopers rescued a horse running with traffic on Interstate 95 in Maine early Wednesday morning. The Bangor Regional Communications Center received multiple calls reporting a horse wandering along I-95, state police said.
