While the National Hurricane Center's map is lit up with a tropical disturbance, Saturday's forecast is much more about the heat index.
According to the NHC, the disturbance is identifiable as a tropical wave carrying clusters of disorganized showers and thunderstorms in the open Atlantic.
The disturbance was producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms about 1,000 miles east-southeast of the Lesser Antilles as of 7 a.m. Sunday. It was moving west-northwest at about 10 mph, according to the NHC.
