An estimated 3,000 people flocked to downtown Napa's Oxbow Commons on Saturday afternoon to participate in a nationwide series of protests against the policies of President Trump's second administration.

Some North Bay activist groups are pushing back against local Indivisible chapters’ decision to coordinate with police ahead of Saturday’s No Kings Day rallies.

The largely peaceful protests during the "No Kings Day" demonstration in downtown Los Angeles took an intense turn in the afternoon. Police ordered the crowd to disperse at about 4:15 p.m. PDT near Alameda Street and Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division.
