A revised proposal to ban the tush push play has been submitted by the Green Bay Packers, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero reported Monday, a day prior to the league meeting commencing in Minneapolis.

Left tackle Jordan Mailata said “we’ll go without the push” if the proposal passes and that the team is more focused on what new offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo is installing than on what’s going on at league meetings.
The Green Bay Packers' efforts to get the tush push banned continued on Monday as the team revised the language in a proposal regarding the play.
"In the Packers’ new revision, which will be voted on this Tuesday and Wednesday, pushing and pulling any ball carrier would be banned — just like the NFL had it back in 2005. If other owners opposed the original ban due to language concerns, this change should certainly alleviate that.
