Debris-filled roof drains caused water to pool on the roof, eventually collapsing a section of the roof and dumping a massive amount of water into the middle of the store.

A partial roof collapse at a Woodman's grocery store happened during severe weather conditions in Madison. According to the Madison Fire Department, firefighters responded to Woodman's grocery store on Milwaukee Street at 9 p.m. after multiple 911 callers reported a roof collapse with water pouring into the building.
