Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan left a hospital in India’s financial capital Mumbai on Tuesday, less than a week after he suffered knife injuries in a scuffle with an intruder at his house, local media reported.

Saif Ali Khan was attacked last week by an intruder, later identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, who entered his home with the intent of theft.

After being discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, Saif Ali Khan received a grand welcome. Pictures of his Bandra home, illuminated and decorated, went viral.

Following the recent security breach at Saif Ali Khan’s residence, significant upgrades are being made to ensure his safety. Additional CCTV cameras are being installed around his house, with wiring work underway to ensure full coverage.
