The Louisiana attorney general announced the arrest of a jail employee in connection with the escape of 10 New Orleans inmates.

Sterling Williams' attorney said he was not threatened into helping the inmates escape and that he was simply the maintenance worker on duty the night of the plot.

State officials have said they have been able to track down and rearrest five of the 10 inmates who escaped last Friday morning, May 16, in a daring breakout that Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson called an “inside job,” according to USA Today .
