Wednesday in Foxboro will be all about football as the New England Patriots kick off training camp, but the team will also be trying to find new homes for some four-legged friends.
The Patriots’ new No. 1 receiver has been cleared for full participation at training camp after tearing his ACL last October, per multiple reports. The Athletic reports Diggs will have his workload “monitored” early in camp, while the team ramps him up from a limited spring.
The expectation is that quarterback Drake Maye can take a leap in Year 2, with help from an improved coaching staff and supporting cast.
A new era of Patriots football is upon us, with the team set to kick off its first training camp under head coach Mike Vrabel on Wednesday.
