As he hit the ground running in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, a 22-year-old Cory Sandhagen worked part-time at Mount Saint Vincent, a foster care program in Colorado that provides behavioral healthcare and education for children who dealt with trauma. It was a way to fund his life as a fighter, but it served a bigger purpose.
