In a league obsessed with instant gratification, the Washington Wizards are playing the long game, and for the first time in a while in Washington, it might actually be working. This year's Summer League roster isn't just a group of rookies and fringe players fighting for contracts and playing for themselves.

Robbins is expected to play a significant role on the Wizards' Summer League roster and was signed with that intention, Vandy on SI has learned. It will be his first NBA Summer League opportunity despite appearing in 13 games last season for the Milwaukee Bucks.
