K-pop star Lisa is facing backlash after appearing to wear the face of Civil Rights activist Rosa Parks emblazoned on her lingerie during Monday’s Met Gala.

Lisa’s Met Gala debut is under fire after fans spotted what looked like Rosa Parks’ face on her underwear — sparking online outrage and calls for accountability.

Louis Vuitton told the Cut that Henry Taylor created the print in question, clarifying that it depicts ‘portraits of figures who have been a part of the artist’s life’. The brand did not shed further light on whether one of those portraits is of Rosa. Lisa has also not spoken publicly against the reaction.
