Recent solar storms revealed a vulnerability in the computers that Airbus A320 family use to control the aircraft's altitude.
In one of the biggest recall in aviation history, Airbus issued an advisory for its Airbus A320 aircraft. The directive was issued after a critical software flaw was found during a flight in October 30 which experienced sudden plunge.
The setback appears to be among the largest recalls affecting Airbus in its 55-year history and comes weeks after the A320 overtook the Boeing 737 as the most-delivered model.
