Multiple people were killed when a plane crashed at the Statesville Regional Airport in rural North Carolina on Thursday morning, erupting into a large fire on the runway, according to the Associated Press.

Officials are on the scene of an “aircraft incident” in Statesville. Statesville Regional Airport confirmed that around 10:15 a.m. an aircraft crashed while landing in a post on their Facebook page. The Federal Aviation Administration is “en route” and will be investigating the incident.
The video then shows a snippet that appears to have been filmed by a different camera, showing the aircraft heading toward the water over what look to be a residential homes. A final frame in the video appears to capture the aircraft falling into separate parts while still in the air.

Greg Biffle and his immediate family were killed after a plane crashed on Thursday. The Cessna C550 crashed while landing at Statesville Regional Airport in Iredell County. Biffle, his wife, and two kids were all on board his plane when it crashed.
The plane was identified as a Cessna C550 business owned by NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, according to the station WSOC. “The tail number is N257BW, which is owned by GB Aviation Leasing. That has the same address as Biffle,” the station reports.
