General Mark Rutte is set to meet President Trump this week on the heels of the US leader announcing plans to sell NATO allies weaponry that they can then pass on to Ukraine.

In a statement, NATO said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will be in Washington on Monday and Tuesday and meet with President Trump and key administration officials.

If the plan is finalized, it would allow critical aid to flow to Ukraine as it endures one of Russia’s heaviest assaults of the war.
