The Texans sit in a more challenging division landscape than once thought. The 7-1 Indianapolis Colts are rolling as one of the best teams and most effective offenses in the NFL, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are still 4-3 with a current tiebreaker against the Texans.
Down in Dove Valley, newly minted Broncos left guard Alex Palczewski’s locker sits directly across from Garett Bolles. And for a 26-year-old who profiles as a tackle and says his last time playing on the left side of the O-line was the “Obama administration,” there may not be a better mentor in the NFL than the 33-year-old Bolles.
The Houston Texans currently sit at 3-4 and are in third place in the AFC South. While that doesn’t exactly scream juggernaut, there are signs that this team could be a sleeping giant.
The most notable mention, of course, is starting tight end Dalton Schultz, who was able to return to practice in full capacity at the end of the week after two straight DNPs, but still could have a chance to miss his first game of the season with a knee/shoulder issue.
