The head of the Small Business Administration, and former U.S. Senator, Kelly Loeffler, says the agency has stopped guaranteeing loans as the government shutdown continues. The shutdown is now more than 13 days old, and there’s no indication either side will budge.

The new president replaces longtime President John DeGioia, who stepped down nearly a year ago.
