The Packers want quarterback Jordan Love to take on a bigger leadership role and demand more from teammates as he enters his third season as the starting quarterback in 2025.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love's right elbow is improving and he didn't receive an injury status for Sunday's NFC wild-card game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

While Love's health was in question this week, the Packers also hope to see a strengthened defense as linebacker Quay Walker (ankle) and safety Evan Williams (quadriceps), who each missed the last three regular-season games, are expected to return.

With longtime quarterbacks coach Tom Clements retiring, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Jordan Love's next step is "to evolve as a vocal leader."
