Thursday morning started cloudy and stormy for some across North Texas. By the afternoon, sunshine peaked through the clouds and highs topped out in the upper 80s with winds from the south around 5 to 10 mph.

The National Weather Service warns of more severe storms expected late Tuesday evening into early Wednesday morning across Central Texas.

A severe thunderstorm watch is issued until 2 a.m. for Collin, Dallas, Delta, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Lamar, Navarro, Rains, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant and Van Zandt counties.
