The House passed a spending resolution that would extend fiscal year 2025 levels until Nov. 21, but the bill has been stalled in the Senate due to Democratic opposition. Republicans are frustrated Democrats won’t pass their bill to continue funding the government at current levels.

The visit comes as the White House has noticed some Republican lawmakers appear to be reticent to redraw maps they approved - and praised - just a few years ago.
