A pirate shipwreck from the 18th century is discovered off the coast of Madagascar with cargo worth $138 million.

After a 30-year search, Cuban American archaeologist and filmmaker Roger Dooley discovered the Holy Grail of Shipwrecks, with a treasure worth billions.

Photos of the seabed confirm that the San José shipwreck is the Spanish galleon from 1708 with sunken treasure valued at $17 billion.

The majority of shipwrecks from the era of the Great Discoveries now lie at the bottom of the ocean abyss or in shallow bays.
