Former Omaha Central, Huskers and Green Bay Packer running back Calvin Jones died Wednesday at his home, according to police reports.
Deputies stopped the car on Interstate 29, and arrested both the driver, 27-year-old Chelsi Rogers, and the passenger, 41-year-old Amber Walker, both of Omaha.
Calvin Jones, who rushed for more than 3,000 yards in three seasons at Nebraska and was with the Green Bay Packers when they won the Super Bowl after the 1996 season, has died. He was 54.
