A 26-year-old Detroit man is dead after drowning at Cass Lake in Keego Harbor, Michigan, on Sunday, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

A man drowned in Cass Lake after unknowingly entering deep water. Rescuers found him following initial location confusion, but he did not survive. The Sheriff emphasized water safety and flotation devices.
