In Patna, the district administration has ordered all schools, both government and private, up to Class 8 to remain closed till January 11.

In response to the ongoing cold wave, the Jharkhand government has announced that schools will be closed for students from kindergarten to class 8 between January 7 and 13. The state’s School Education and Literacy Department issued a notification stating that the closure applies to all schools,
