Multiple pets were rescued and are still being rescued following a three-alarm fire at a North Austin apartment building, says the Austin Fire Department.

The Austin Fire Department says a large fire at a North Austin apartment complex on Sunday afternoon is now under control. AFD said the fire was on the second floor of a three-story building in the 11500 block of Metric Blvd.
