The United States attacked three Iranian nuclear sites. Iran launched more missiles at Israel and vowed to defend itself.

"The NPT, a cornerstone of the non-proliferation regime, has been manipulated into a political weapon," Iran's U.N. envoy said.

Iran and Israel traded air and missile strikes as the world braced on Monday for Tehran's response to the U.S. attack on its nuclear sites and U.S. President Donald Trump raised the idea of regime change in the Islamic republic.
