U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday criticized Israel's prosecutors over an ongoing corruption trial against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying it was interfering with his ability to conduct talks with both Hamas and Iran.

The U.S. President said his friend is being put through a “witch hunt” corruption trial, but the Israeli leader’s hold on power is threatened by domestic political issues too.

President Trump is calling on Israel to cancel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial, describing the legal proceedings as a politically driven “witch hunt.” In a post on his Truth Social platform Wednesday night,
