Although the cruise line is facing even bigger issues now, Carnival has come up with a solution for one loyalty program problem that passengers will appreciate.

The new program, Carnival Rewards, will replace the existing structure with a system similar to those found in airline frequent flyer programs, according to The Points Guy. Under the current program, rewards are offered as a single metric for customers, meaning there’s a point for each time someone sails.
