NORMAN — Linebacker Kobie McKinzie, who exited OU's game against Ole Miss on Saturday, is dealing with a groin injury, head coach Brent Venables said during his coach's show on Monday. McKinzie was jogging at practice Monday and the Sooners are "hopeful" he'll return to action Saturday at Tennessee.

The Oklahoma Sooners are still looking to add to their 2026 recruiting class a couple of months out from the early signing period. They have their sights set on the wide receiver position, in particular. The Oklahoma Sooners earned a commitment from four-star wide receiver Jahsiear Rogers on Monday morning.

The No. 8 Ole Miss Rebels and the No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners meet Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET.

Arkansas will receive a first round bye in the SEC Tournament by being a top 4 seed. They'll await the winner of No. 8 Mississippi State and No. 9 Oklahoma. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and will be broadcast on SEC Network from Pensacola Fla.

Rogers is OU's 22nd commitment in the 2026 class and the fourth receiver, joining Brayden Allen, Daniel Odom and Zizi Okwufulueze.
