By Aftab Ahmed, Shivam Patel and Saurabh Sharma JAMMU, India/ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - The military operations chiefs of India and Pakistan spoke by phone on Monday, the Indian army said, as New Delhi reopened airports and shares rose in both countries following a ceasefire that paused days of intense fighting last week.

The Balochistan Liberation Army reportedly claimed responsibility for 71 coordinated attacks at over 51 locations across Balochistan, a province of Pakistan, last week.

Covert operations are “far more effective in weakening the terrorist infrastructure and enterprise in Pakistan, but only if they cover the full spectrum of covert instrumentalities available.”
