Thousands of "No Kings Day" protests are set to be held throughout the country on Saturday to protest the Trump administration.

The “day of defiance” protests began as early as 10 a.m. in North Texas, while the Washington, D.C., military parade for the Army’s 250th birthday starts at 5:30 p.m. Central.

Today’s United States — its possibility, its strength, its divisiveness, its polarization and fragmentation — is encapsulated in a single week in June 2025, its triumphs and frictions on vivid display.

No Kings has identified on its website more than 1,800 cities nationwide, including about 70 in Michigan, where demonstrators are set to gather to express disapproval.

The nationwide “No Kings” protest is scheduled for Anaheim’s La Palma Park at 4 p.m. today following a series of rolling protests against ICE sweeps throughout OC this week – especially in Santa Ana.
