Microsoft's Surface Pro 8 has been at the top of a couple of best-of lists since its introduction. But the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 represents a new challenger.

If you're in the market for a fantastic, premium Windows tablet, two devices that are practically guaranteed to make the list are the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9315) and Microsoft Surface Pro 9.
Dell has some excellent discounts right now, including a deal that takes $300 off the XPS 13 2-in-1. But the deals end early tomorrow morning, so you have to act quickly.
To compensate, Microsoft will include a free copy of Office Home and Student 2013 with “small screen” Windows 8 tablets. The Acer Iconia W3 is the first tablet to take advantage.
Microsoft has launched a 13-inch Surface Laptop as well as a 12-inch Surface Pro tablet. But while there's no mention of tariffs, the two PCs definitely cut corners.
