The deadly fires roaring through Los Angeles County continued Thursday, leaving at least six people dead, over 1,000 structures destroyed and around 360,000 people forced to evacuate, and prompting thousands of firefighters to descend on the region to try to extinguish the flames.

The Sunset Fire, which has consumed 60 acres of land, was discovered on Tuesday at around 6 p.m. local time, according to Cal Fire. The fire started in the Hollywood Hills region while it was under red flag warnings due to extreme fire weather.

All evacuation orders for the Hollywood Hills Sunset Fire have been lifted Thursday after water-dropping aircraft slowed the fire's advance overnight, allowing for full-containment by the afternoon.

Los Angeles firefighters said no homes burned from the Sunset fire, which occurred near Runyon Canyon and sparked a momentary evacuation order for Hollywood and the Hollywood Hills.
