Officers with the Corona Police Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 900 block of Wakefield Avenue. Video footage from a resident's Ring camera shows the male suspect intentionally setting the vehicle, then himself, on fire.

It was reported just before 3:30 p.m. in a large open area near the 12900 block of W. Branford Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LOS ANGELES — An arson investigation was underway after a half-acre brush fire burned in Pacoima on Sunday. The grass fire was reported just after 4 p.m., in the 12900 block of West Bradford Street, near the Golden State (5) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A female arson suspect was fatally shot by deputies in Rosemead during a standoff while serving a search warrant. No deputies were injured. The investigation is ongoing, with appeals for witness information.

The suspect may have suffered burn injuries after setting fire to a black sedan parked in the front yard of a home in Riverside County, according to the Corona Fire Department

A woman was shot and killed by Los Angeles County Department Sheriff’s deputies in Rosemead and an investigation of the shooting is underway on Thursday.
