A missing Wisconsin dad with a heart condition battled rain and starvation while he was feared dead after vanishing for three days in a dense Puerto Rican rainforest. Abdur Rahman, 64, said he was “hungry” when his rescuers saved him from the harsh wilderness during his vacation, his family told CBS 58.
By Tuesday night, he was resting in a Puerto Rico hospital. Rahman’s daughter, Mehreen Asra, told WDJT she believed he was dead. “I never thought we’d find him alive,” she said. The family contacted 911, and police and first responders went to work with search dogs and thermal imaging drones to find him.
