The Greer Fire in eastern Arizona, which burned over 20,000 acres, is now 100% contained. Residents have been allowed to return home, but some trails and roads remained closed.

Calmer winds have helped firefighters make incredible progress on the Greer Fire. The blaze was 88% contained, as of 7 a.m. May 21 and at 20,308 acres burned, according to federal tracker InciWeb.
