It's win or go home for the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors in the 2025 NBA playoffs. Coming into their series against the New York Knicks as a heavy favorite, the Celtics have experienced disaster after disaster.

The Warriors didn’t receive the surprise they needed to win Game 4 of their Western Conference semifinal series with the Timberwolves on Monday. So now they’re going to need something much, much stronger. Down 3-1 and heading to Minnesota for a close-out Game 5, the Dubs will need a miracle. Specifically, one of the medical variety.

The Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks each took tough playoff losses at home in Game 3 of their respective series, and now both teams have a another chance in front of their supportive crowds come Game 4 on Monday.

On Monday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Golden State Warriors 117-110 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The win gives them a 3-1 lead in the series as they look to close out the Warriors at home in Minneapolis on Wednesday night in Game 5.

Jimmy Butler III attempted just nine shots and finished with 14 points in the Warriors’ 117-110 loss to the Timberwolves.
