CINCINNATI — Bengals linebacker Shaka Heyward suffered a leg injury (fibula) in the first half of Sunday's game against the Jets and didn't return. The special teams' ace will miss at least four weeks according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

A historically poor showing on their home field produced a players-only meeting for Cincinnati's defense on Monday, a day after the Bengals' 39-38 loss at Paycor Stadium to the New York Jets, a last-place club that was winless entering the weekend.

The Cincinnati Bengals are already in the “players-only meetings” portion of a potential meltdown. According to Fox 19’s Joe Danneman, Bengals defenders were in a players-only meeting on Monday when reporters were in the building for a Zac Taylor press conference and other start-of-week stuff.
