They have history and lots of it, including Marchand scoring four goals against Luongo in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final. Those goals came in Games 3, 4, 6 and 7 of that series — which just happened to be the ones that Boston won in that matchup, denying Luongo and the Vancouver Canucks that season's title.

"Brad Marchand (36 years, 363 days) became the oldest player in Panthers playoff history with an overtime goal, besting the previous mark set by Mike Hough (33 years, 96 days in Game 5 of 1996 CSF)," the NHL noted on X.

The Panthers’ third-line forwards were their top three point-scorers in the playoffs, heading into Game 3 of their second-round series against Toronto. Getting more offensive production from Marchand, center Anton Lundell and winger Eetu Luostarinen has paid dividends. All three were among the team’s best in plus-minus.
