French technology consulting services giant Capgemini SE said today it has agreed to buy the Indian business process automation firm WNS Holdings Ltd. in a $3.3 billion cash deal, as part of an effort to expand the range of artificial intelligence tools it can offer to customers.

When its WNS acquisition closes, Capgemini will be a business process services powerhouse with intelligent operations chops to grow its AI and agentic AI business.

The acquisition is expected to help Capgemini combine the capabilities and scale of both the companies to address the strategic opportunity driven by Agentic AI
