According to TimeAndDate.com, daylight saving time will start on Sunday, March 9, this year. Clocks will “spring forward,” as the saying goes, at 2 a.m. (ET). And while there are those who simply shrug and dutifully change their clocks in accordance with the practice, there are others who are hoping time’s up for daylight saving time.
When Daylight Saving Time starts in 2025
Daylight saving time will start on Sunday, March 9. The “spring forward” changeover officially takes place at 2 a.m., when we move the clocks ahead by one hour, meaning sunrise and sunset will be about one hour later on March 9 than the day before and there will be more light in the evening and less in the morning.
