The Greensboro Gargoyles are set to begin play this October at the First Horizon Coliseum. The team will compete in the ECHL, a “AA” Developmental Hockey League.

The Greensboro Gargoyles will be the 30th team in the ECHL. Players will rock purple and gold sweaters with a unique logo. They will begin play in October at the First Horizon Coliseum.

The Hurricanes have a long history of utilizing any ECHL affiliate, the may have, and the ownership group of the Gargoyles has a lot of experience in the minor leagues.
