Maybe Disney will see the error of their ways and for $45 offer a bundle that includes ESPN, Disney Plus, Hulu and Fox One, which would rival any live TV streaming service in terms of value and have a lot of people replacing their cable package. But until then, this bundle is impressive, but not quite perfect.

As Disney and Fox are preparing to launch their upcoming ESPN and Fox One streaming services on Aug. 21, the two media giants revealed on Monday that offerings will also be available in a bundle together for $39.99 per month starting Oct. 2.

You can’t call it Venu, but a new offer from Disney’s ESPN and Fox Corp. aims to provide some of the scope of that scuttled streaming project that would have included sports offerings from those two companies, as well as Warner Bros Discovery.
