In Game 1, the Timberwolves were unable to take care of business. They allowed the Warriors to come into Minnesota and steal home-court advantage by a final score of 99-88. While the win was a big one for Golden State, Stephen Curry suffered a hamstring injury. It has since been reported that he will miss the next week at least due to the injury.

Fatigued Golden State players took Wednesday off after a physical 99-88 Game 1 victory over the Timberwolves, but coach Steve Kerr and his staff went to work determining how the Warriors will play on without superstar Stephen Curry for the next three games and possibly the rest of the best-of-seven series.

Stephen Curry pulled up limp in the first half of the Warriors’ second-round playoff opener, eventually made his way to the visitors’ locker room inside Target Center and never returned to the court Tuesday night.
