Ozzy Wiesblatt made his NHL debut for the Nashville Predators in a 3-0 shutout win over the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night.

Ozzy Wiesblatt’s journey to the NHL has been anything but ordinary. So it only makes sense that his first impression on Nashville Predators fans was one-of-a-kind.

Juuse Saros made 27 saves for his fourth shutout of the season and Steven Stamkos scored his 12th goal to lead the Predators to their first win of 2025 on Friday. The Predators remain in seventh place in the Central Division, three points ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks.

With Zach L'Heureux beginning a three-game suspension for his slew-foot on Minnesota Wild's Jared Spurgeon, the Predators recalled forward Ozzy Wiesblatt from Milwaukee. They also recalled defenseman Spencer Stastney as the team assesses injuries to Jeremy Lauzon and Adam Wilsby.
