Sugar cookies sold at Target recalled over potential wood contamination
Over 800 cases of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies sold at Target were recalled due to possible wood contamination. The cookies, recalled on July 22 by Give and Go Prepared Foods, were distributed in 20 states and Washington D.C. No illnesses have been reported, accordin to the voluntary recall.

Sugar cookies sold at Target stores in 20 states and Washington D.C. have been recalled. A document on the Food and Drug Administration website shows 803 cases of 10-count Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies were recalled on July 22. Each case contains 15 packages, meaning more than 12,000 packages have been recalled.
The sugar cookies were sold in Washington D.C. and 20 other states and were recalled due to potential foreign contanimation.
